Payment:
In order to confirm your booking please ensure pay a deposit ASAP.
- Payment made more than 10 weeks prior to departure – 25%
- Payment 8-4 weeks prior to departure – up to 40%
- The remaining payment is required 1 week prior to departure (up to 100%)
To reduce transfers and transfer costs we recommend making one 40% transfer instead of first 25% and then another 15%.
Payments methods:
By bank transfer (the cost is approximately $25USD) – this is born by the client and any extra transfer cost will be added to next payment. Payment is in USD or Euro equivalent. Payment goes from your bank via an intermediary bank (either Citibank in New York for USD or Commerzbank in Frankfurt for Euro) to my bank (Zemen bank in Addis) and thence to my account. Therefore there are 2 account numbers – Zemen’s account number with the intermediary bank, and my account number at Zemen. We will send you the transfer details by email.
If you are in Addis you can pay in cash, either in US Dollars or at the equivalent on the day in Birr, Euros or Sterling. I’m sorry but we can not accept credit cards at this time. Personal cheques from foreign countries can be processed but please allow 4 weeks, and this costs 1%.
Cancellation terms are:
- Once your holiday is confirmed – 25%.
- 30 days prior to departure date – 40%.
- 14 days prior to departure date – 80%
- 7 days prior to departure date – 100%
